I hold deep gratitude to live and work on this land, which is unceded (stolen) Coast Salish territory, where the Hul'qumi'num- and SENĆOŦEN-speaking peoples have tended the lands and surrounding waters since time immemorial. I am continually seeking to do better in how I walk on this land as a descendent of my settler ancestors. May I remain open to correction when I make a misstep, and may I be an active agent for solidarity in repairing and honouring our connections to each other, our histories and cultures, and the land.
